DAY 2

Pangkalan Bun to Kumai

On arrival in Pangkalan Bun, be transferred to Kumai to board your Houseboat. Stay the next two nights onboard a Houseboat.

DAY 2

Houseboat

Sail towards Pondok Tanggui, the rehabilitation centre for orangutans that have passed the semi-wild phase. Visit the Orangutan feeding this morning before boarding the boat and continuing to Camp Leakey. Enjoy a trek through the forest to observe orangutan feeding.

DAY 3

Kumai to Lopus Dayak Village

Witness a spectacular sunrise over Kumai before disembarking and transferring to Lopus Dayak Village. Explore the small village as you enjoy an afternoon at leisure. In the evening, part take in the traditional Bagondang ceremony. Overnight at Longhouse.

DAY 4

Lopus Dayak Village to Muhur Village

Depart Lopus Dayak and journey to Muhur Village. Upon arrival in Muhur Village continue trekking up into the forest where you will experience and enjoy the life in the oldest primary forest in Borneo. Overnight at Forest Tent.

DAY 5

Muhur Village to Pangkalan Bun

Enjoy a leisurely morning before returning to Muhur for your onward journey to Pangkalan Bun. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant enjoy a free afternoon. Overnight at Swissbell Pangkalan Bun.

DAY 6

Pangkalan Bun, Departure

After breakfast be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
