Meet your guide at Incheon airport and take a private transfer to your hotel where you will stay for the next two nights. Enjoy a traditional welcome Korean dinner to meet your fellow travellers.
Today you will visit the main sights of Seoul starting with the Gyeongbok Palace, the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty. After lunch visit the 600 year old Bukchon Hanok Village before ending the day with views over Seoul from the 236 metre tall N Seoul Tower.
Travel from Seoul to Gyeongju, the old capital city of the Shilla Kingdom. After a local lunch (included), visit UNESCO World Heritage Bulgulska Temple with its lovely pagodas and bridges, Seokguram Grotto (one of Asia’s most magnificent Buddhist shrines) and the Gyeongju National Museum to see the treasures of the Shilla Kingdom.
This morning travel to Busan, South Korea’s main port and second largest city. Visit the UN Memorial Cemetery, Jagalchi Fish Market the largest in South Korea, the vibrant international market and Busan Tower at Yongdusan Park.
Spend the day wandering in the streets of Busan to discover what this city has to offer, before heading back to Seoul.
Today you will experience and learn about Temple Life in Korea. This will include a Temple Tour, Yebul or Ceremonial Service, tea time with a monk and temple food for lunch. Spend the free afternoon to explore Seoul at your own pace. The day will conclude with a Korean BBQ farewell dinner.
It’s time to say goodbye, but just think of all the wonderful stories you will take home. A transfer will take you to the airport for your onward travels.
