Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure, taking in the sights and sounds of your new surroundings. Your itinerary includes a three-night stay in the lively city of Mindelo, where you’ll have ample time to explore and experience the vibrant atmosphere of this captivating destination.
Explore the captivating landscapes of São Vicente, where beautiful beaches and ancient volcanoes await. We will begin the journey by strolling through the cosmopolitan capital of Mindelo, taking in its lively atmosphere. Then we’ll discover the panoramic vistas of Monte Verde, the kitesurfing beach of Salamansa, and the music festival and natural pools of Bafa das Gatas. We will have some free time to enjoy a swim in those natural pools. Marvel at the pristine white sands of Praia Grande and at Calhau’s extinct volcanoes, from where we’ll catch a glimpse of Santa Luzia island. Return to Mindelo’s city center via the scenic Madeiral road.
Free day to enjoy “Laginha beach”, Mindelo’s urban beach or do some shopping in the city center.
Early transfer to Mindelo’s harbour for your boat trip to your new destination – Santo Antäo island (1h crossing). On arrival at Santo Antäo start discovering the main attractions of the island. Tour through the famous Corda road, passing by Aguas das Caldeiras, the capital Ribeira Grande, the fishing village Ponta de Sol and not to be missed – Paúl. A fabulous contrast between the aridity of the south side of the island, the forest in the heights and the luxuriant vegetation in the north.

Today we will discover the southwestern side of the island. In contrast to the north with its rich vegetation, this part of the island is rather arid. Be amazed by the volcanic landscapes and pozzolana fields where beautiful isolated villages can be spotted. Stop at Lagedos village known for its sustainable tourism. Continuing the tour we will be able to sight typical landscapes – unique plantation fields and colourful contrasts displayed by the black volcanic rock.
Return to the harbour after lunch for your boat departing back to Säo Vicente. Arrival to Säo Vicente and return to your accommodation.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
